Introduction
Be it an NGO or a project being implemented by the NGO, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning have been identified to be critical metrics of assessing the overall performance of both. Additionally, MEAL helps in evaluating whether a project is achieving its targets and understand the required needs and adjustments. The MEAL skill has become imperative for organizations to continuously evolve and improve.
Training Objectives
The objective of this training is to familiarize the participants with the MEAL, comprehensive knowledge of MEAL principles, the Importance of MEAL in project management, participatory MEAL and learning in MEAL, how to create objectives and smart indicators in MEAL and MEAL planning. The course will include instruction of designing various MEAL tools e.g. Performance Tracking Table, Data Flow Map and Summary Evaluation Table etc.

Methodology of Training
The mixed-method approach will be used to inculcate the adult learning principles for the training. To make it highly innovative, the trainer will use discussion, case studies, group work, individual assignments, and exercises. The training will be conducted in a friendly environment where the participants will be encouraged to bring forward their queries and share their thoughts and opinions. Participative practical activities will reinforce individual and group learning. The training will be evaluated at every day’s end to know the shortcomings/lacking and will be improved for the next day.
