Introduction of Training
The training aims to equip community development professionals, project  managers/ officers,  and   other    stakeholders  with   the knowledge and tools necessary to implement the  Sustainable  Livelihoods  Approach  (SLA).  This approach focuses on  understanding and  enhancing the livelihood  strategies  of  people  living in poverty by leveraging their existing assets and capabilities.

 Methodology
The training methodology will be highly participatory, interactive, and practical, ensuring that participants can apply the Sustainable Livelihoods Approach (SLA) effectively in their communities. The methodology  will  include  a  mix  of  theoretical  learning, practical exercises, group discussions, and real-life case studies.

About the Trainer

Wasi Haider is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in project evaluations, third-party monitoring, and capacity building, particularly in conflict-affected regions. He has significantly contributed to enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of humanitarian initiatives. His expertise spans essential services like WASH, Health, Livelihood,  Protection,  MHPSS,  Shelter, and Food Security.  Wasi has worked  with renowned international organizations, managing grants and cooperative agreements funded by major  donors like the EU and USAID.  His proficiency in financial  management and strategic   planning has been   instrumental in delivering   high-quality   evaluations and monitoring reports, thereby supporting the resilience and recovery of vulnerable communities.
