What this course is about:
This is formulated for teens, adults, professionals, volunteers almost everyone who wants to contribute in society to help to raise the status of women bar in different crisis situation. Gender-based violence is a complex issue, and even the words “gender-based violence” involves a complex set of concepts and terms and this course will guide you through these terms and explains what should be done in time of crisis, in time of emergencies.
This course is allows you to understand the humanitarian approach towards the crisis and with highlighting different problems and solutions to those problems.

The training designed keeping in view highly interactive and participatory approach in mind, allowing for group interaction and discussion at all levels to conceptualize the key concepts according to the context of the learner. Participants will be encouraged to share their practical experience the issues and challenges they faced in the context of gender based violence program implementations. Participants will be given different scenarios to reflect on and prepare gender responsive plans keeping in view the challenges of Gender Based Violence in emergency contexts. Group discussions are considered extremely important in such sessions as it is through an open sharing of ideas that the most learning takes place, especially when working towards attitudinal change.
