While working in highly unstable environment, it is pertinent for NGOs to not only manage the donors’ money efficiently, but also remain accountable and transparent. Effective accounting system ensures efficiency, accountability and transparency to stakeholders along with providing basis for management decision. This course will cover the complete accounting cycle for NGOs to make credible reports for taking financial decision. the course will also provide guideline for ensuring effective internal controls related to accounting and finance. The accounting record keeping including forms and documents to substantiate the transactions will also be discussed.
